Developed by legendary knife designers Ken Onion and Jeff Park, the Tectonic™ Grip takes inspiration from the forces that shape the earth itself.

Unlike traditional checkering that relies on a single pattern and direction, the Tectonic™ features an asymmetric landscape of intersecting textures, varying depths, and multiple scales. Larger surfaces anchor the hand under recoil, while finer textures lock into the skin to provide control without unnecessary abrasion.

The result is a grip that works in every direction. Whether driving the pistol onto target, managing recoil, or maintaining control with wet, gloved, or fatigued hands, the Tectonic™ continuously engages the hand from multiple angles. There is no single direction of traction—only complete engagement.

The first back is available in VZ Grips Hyena Brown colorway. The Hyena blends neutral shades of brown, tan, and black to create a pattern that's as functional as it is visually striking.

Inspired by natural environments where earth tones dominate, Hyena Brown breaks up the outline of the pistol and reduces visual contrast against common backdrops like dirt, rock, dry grass, tree bark, and urban terrain.
